Dibakar Sabat


More the challenges, more the opportunity to succeed. These are not mere words but indeed an incident where words have been given a physical form. A trend-setter for the youth is Dibakar Sabat son of Mr. Prakash Sabat a marble worker. Submerged with the miseries of poverty, he had no choice but to quit studies and work as a marble worker in order to share the burdens of his father. But unfortunately, he lost projects due to labour problem hence, he decided to do further studies and completed ITI from Berhampur.

After joining ITI, he got in touch with the Principal of Govt. ITI Berhampur and what came as a boon in disguise were the guiding words who advised him to enrolled in Wiremen Trade (2011). Thence, started his journey towards success. He without any second thought, got enrolled and as a trainee he was so enthusiastic, he never hesitated to venture any field where he could learn something.

A skilled heart and mind was what Dibakar carried as a transformed man. His dedication towards work needs an applaud. Owing to his great knowledge and skill, after the completion of his training, he got many opportunities and called up for home services and commercial services. His service offerings were motor repairing, sales and services.

The effort by Hemanta Nayak wireman trade trainer how further advice Dibakar’s name to the Nano Unicorn programme, acted as a life changing moment in his life where he got selected and finally completed his training during 2017.

Finally, the day arrived to enjoy the fruits of his efforts in the real sense. He started opened a shop named MAA TARA TARINI Hand Tool giving employment to his friends nearby. Dibakar started business with an investment of Rs 2300/- and today the turnover is 20 lakhs per year with in a span of 7 years. He could repay the complete one lakh rupees he took as a loan from the Nano Unicorn project.

Dedication and disciplined activities of Dibakar towards the Nano Unicorn programme is setting an example for future Nano unicorns.
